8.00 (good) What I like in this show is how it shows true nature of the people in deadly dangerous and hopeless situations. For example moments like a girl abandones her best friend without hesitation in her will to survive. On the other hand to much fan service, but still a lot of action, so I must say its pretty good

8.00 (good) Started to watch cause I'm interested in Sengoku era a lot^_^ we have characters like Sanada Yukimura, Date Masamune, Sarutobi Sasuke etc. here, so I'm in^_^ First, there is a lot of action here, one will not be bored for a moment watching it. Fighting scenes are well done, bloody too. Despite that the fights get violent, this show has funny moments and totally messed up, crazy wierdos. Bishies too. I like the characters, they are original and have strong personalities (and awesome seiyuus). I even can stand Isanami with her behavior (she fancy Saizou so much thats it kind of.. rude), was kind of shocked with it but eventually I found it pretty funny^_^ well, anyway its explained later in the show why she was raised like this, isn't it?
I don't know why but I think it should be longer and has some awesomer showdown. It wasn't bad, but kind of lacking something. And its too colorful (too much sugar if you know what I mean), trying to be a heavy bloody ninja tale on the other side. It's more of a comedy at times. Well don't mind the humor, cause its really good, but that violent and colorfull side of it just don't fit together somehow. But its just me propably, cause I like serious and realistic samurai/ninja stories. Don't mind me^_^
Ah, yes, and Saizo reminds me of Noctis from the forever unrelased game FF Versus XIII. They look kind of alike, the hair, clothes... ne?

8.00 (good) First impression: combination of Durarara (city, gang, one of them look like Shizuo), NO.6 (main characters reminds Shion and Nezumi, even with their looks) and Kuroshitsuji (the sword users reminds of Sebastian somehow^^). Oh and Hetalia cause the main character's voice is the same as Italia XD All in all its an enjoyable show so far and I have high expectations^^

7.75 (good) A randevous with classic music and instruments.. Why not?^_^ based on otome game, so we have male harem here, but I find myself to like the female protagonist more than these guys^_^ She tryed so hard with that magic violin of hers... I love violin, by the way^_^ I could watch this in order to listen to the instrumental concerts only^_^ but bishie competition always good as an addition^_^

7.75 (good) If you know well japanese history and warlords of Sengoku era, you will be laughing a lot watching it^_^ otherwise leave it be, because you could not understand the show at all;p for me its really funny, great ideas and the hypothesis that Uesugi Kenshin might be Gackt just kills me!^_^

7.50 (good) Graphics here is something you have to deal with, you like it or not. Personally, I don't. I watched it for the sake of medicine seller^_^ He is very cool character, I love his kimono and overall concept. His personality is interesting as well. But the demon and ghost stories he participates in are not that bad too. They caught my attention view times, so I just had to watch, to know what happens next. If you can bear the art style... its likeable^_^

7.50 (good) Watched it because wanted to know what one of the most popular in japanese history epic book is about^_^ Don't really want to read it, its quite long and I'm too lazy for books. So if you don't learn japanese traditional culture, there's nothing for you too watch here. You will find it a little... boring. But I like that animes like that exists. Aoi Bungaku series are based on japanese literature as well. That I can recommend^_^ I wish they do some series about history of Yoshitsune Minamoto too someday..

7.00 (above average) Could have been a lot better, the anime I mean. I love the game, but the TV show is just kind of waste of time. Its a shame cause with the DMC world they should be able to do something a lot more... ambitious and amazing.

7.00 (above average) After 13 eps I still have the feeling that what I'm watching is only a prologue to the true story. Guess I should play the game if I want to see something more, cause the anime itself is rather boring. Good to watch some hot guys and relax but it's nothing special really if it comes to plot (what was I expecting? its based on otome game after all^^). The only thing that I really love about this anime is the opening theme song^_^ Hakuouki is better I think (better graphics, more hotter bishies, more action, but plot... well its an otome game... what do we expect^^)

Afro Samurai

Last Updated: Jun 29, 2011

6.75 (above average) NIce one, but... I don't really like this one. Samurais and katanas don't really fit with Negroes... similar try was Samurai Champloo, where japanese Edo era was a little mixed with hip hop. I like it much more than Afro though (maybe cause of Mugen and Kazuya Nakai). So generally don't like the idea of that hybrid. But not only that. The plot itself wasn't a masterpiece too. However I like one idea here (spoiler, lookout!): that he had an imaginary friend. Don't say its a bad show, just not hiting my type.

6.75 (above average) I own the first volume of the manga and just from it I can say it's far more interesting than the OVAs, they should turn it to a proper anime, cause the story is rather good

6.00 (average) Watched because of the list of seiyuus, never seen a better cast I guess... Art style of the characters is nice, somewhat like bishie heaven^_^ Having all these they should be able to make a lot better project than it is. Just a view of the stories are good and fun to watch, most of them are just kind of boring, not ended well. Pity.

6.00 (average) I'm at episode 5 while I'm writing this. I heard great opinions about it so I started to watch even though its not really my type. Interesting enough so far, so I won't regret, I believe^_^
Nah, maybe it didn't fullfil my expectations, but it was okay. I wish they didn't focused on economy and politic themes so much, but more on daily life and relations between charcters (like in the beginning). Kind of waste of time
